1. Information We Collect

When you register an account, we collect your username, email address and a hashed password. When you submit a server listing, we collect the server details you provide. We also collect basic server logs (IP addresses, browser type) for security and debugging purposes.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your email is used to send account verification emails, password reset emails and important site notifications. We never sell your email address to third parties. Server submission data is displayed publicly on the site as you have submitted it.

3. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you request deletion. Server listings are retained as long as the account exists or until removed by you or an administrator. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at [email protected].

4. Third Parties

We use Google Fonts to load web fonts (Oxanium and DM Sans). This results in a request to Google's servers. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service. We do not run advertising on WoW-Private-Servers.com.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a work factor of 12. All forms use CSRF tokens. We recommend using HTTPS (configured via your hosting panel) to encrypt traffic between your browser and our server.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
