Warning: Always research a server before you invest time

Heads up for the community. I spent 3 months gearing my character on what seemed like a very stable server. Logged in one day to find a surprise wipe announced with only 48 hours notice. No compensation for donors. Always check how long a server has been running and whether they have a history of sudden wipes before committing your time.
